What is Steeev
Steeev operates as two entities: Steeev Ltd and Steeev Combating Mae Loneliness Community Interest Company. The Ltd company is responsible for developing and running the Steeev platform, app, and commercial partnerships, while the CIC (Community Interest Company) focuses on social impact, and providing free or subsidised access for men who would otherwise be excluded. The two work together under a shared mission to reduce male loneliness and improve wellbeing. A percentage of profit from Steeev Ltd will be used to support the CIC’s community programmes and grants, ensuring that commercial growth directly funds social good. This structure allows Steeev to combine the agility of a private company with the accountability and public benefit purpose of a social enterprise.
Why this matters
Loneliness and weak social ties harm health and work, and they place pressure on families and services. Steeev turns intent into action: simple steps, repeated often, that help men show up, join in, and stay connected.
What we do
Access to connection: the Steeev platform helps men find people nearby who share their interests, arrange meets, and keep in touch.
Evidence and guidance: A Million Words of Wisdom: plain-English resources that normalise asking for help and offer next steps.
Targeted outreach: we prioritise male-dominated sectors with higher risk profiles, beginning with construction: friendly meets on and off site, peer champions, and simple pathways into support.
Ethical engagement: gentle prompts and rewards that celebrate showing up, following up, and inviting someone along.
